| Willow Cottage is a gite converted from a farmer's cottage in the grounds of our home in the glorious Poitou Charentes region of South Western France. It has been extensively and professionally renovated to provide top quality self catering accommodation.
The Gite is in a quiet hamlet of 12 houses and is fully equipped to sleep 4 people, with its own entrance and secure parking area. There is a sitting room with satellite TV, fully equipped dining kitchen, downstairs wet room with walk in shower, 2 bedrooms and spa bathroom. The Garden is a mature half acre and is fully enclosed with several seating and outdoor dining areas, giving both sunshine and shade all day long. Poitou Charentes is the second sunniest department in France and guests in the gite are welcome to share the lovely garden with us.
The Local Area Poitou Charentes is perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife and all amenities ( bank, shops, post office, market, lake with picnic area, snack bar and beach ) are within a few minutes cycle ride or car journey from the gite. Ruffec, a 10 minute drive, is a medium sized town and has major rail links to Paris, Lille, Poitiers and Angouleme. Limoges and Cognac are also within easy reach. | ||||||
